As bus services begin to return to normal, we would like to reassure returning and new passengers what to expect from our service.

The Bwcabus team working alongside bus operators Richards Bros have introduced some changes on board for the safety of our passengers and drivers.

  • All vehicles fitted with automatic hand dispensers

  • Driver protection screens fitted to create a physical barrier between passengers and drivers.

  • Enhanced cleaning programme on all our vehicles

  • Maximum of 50% capacity at anyone time.

The above also applies to connecting TrawsCymru T1, T5 and 460 services.

A gentle reminder

  • You must not travel if you are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms or are self-isolating

  • Maintain social distancing and stay 2 meters apart where possible.

  • Wash your hands regularly.

  • Wear a face covering unless you are medically exempt or aged under 11.

  • Try not to touch surfaces like benches, buttons, doors or your face.

  • Do not eat or drink whilst on board the bus.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, and place the tissue into a bin.

  • Use contactless payment where possible

  • Board or exit the bus one at a time and stand back at bus stops to allow passengers getting off the bus plenty of room before you try to board.

We kindly ask returning passengers to avoid busy periods, key workers will have priority.
